ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard which sets out the criteria for a quality management system. LYRA is certified to ISO 9001:2015, which ensures quality management.

 

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2015 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

NIJ Standards

The purpose of NIJ standards is to establish minimum performance requirements and test methods for the ballistic resistance of personal body armor intended to protect the torso against gunfire. LYRA, as the first and largest producer of body armour in Pakistan, complies with the various NIJ standards for its personal body armour range. We rigorously and regularly test our body armour designs in-house and have them tested by independent international laboratory. Our bulletproof jackets are also tested by Pakistan Army lab.

 

Our ballistic range is tested and certified to NIJ Standards by independent European laboratory, TNO Netherlands.

CE Standards

CE stands for ‘Communité Européen’. CE Marking indicates that a product conforms to a European technical standard identified as a harmonised European Norm (hEN).

LYRA is the manufacturer of first EC type certified Safety Coverall in Pakistan. Our Safety Coverall (model 325) and Flyer Coverall (model 304) are certified to EN ISO 11612:2015.

The CE Marking harmonised European Norms (hENs) are standards adopted by Comité Européen de Normalisation (CEN) who represent all the national standards bodies, following a mandate issued by the European Commission. ‘STANAG 2920’

The NATO Standardisation Agreement (STANAG) 2920 is the internationally recognised standard for fragmentation protection on all types of armour from Ballistic Helmets and Body Armour, to Add-on Vehicle Armour Systems.
